Guests have their own waterfront/beach area, fire pit with chairs and picnic table. Canoe, paddles and two life jackets are provided complimentarily and snowshoes in the winter for trekking. We keep a skating rink clear all winter for guest use.
There is reasonable cellular signal around the cabin. Electrical outlets are provided in the kitchenette to charge devices.
We have cows, sheep, goats, pigs, livestock dogs, barn cats, chickens, ducks, peafowl, horses and donkey pastured in other areas of the property. Everyone is very, very friendly and enjoys guest attention. A bucket of alfalfa cubes is provided to feed the animals. There is often something being bottle-fed (we love taking in rescue animals) that guests are welcome to participate in. Guests are encouraged to walk around and interact with the animals. Please close gates behind you and respect the private family area near our home.
